This Thursday, 17/8, Nau Live Spaces, in Porto Alegre, hosted the 3rd Insurance Innovation Marathon, promoted by JRS. The event brought together important names in the sector and contouring with an intense program that lasted all day. The activities were divided into two stages: Icatu and Rio Grande.
Among the debates brought by the panelists and speakers, themes such as 'Innovation beyond borders', 'The Future of the Insurance Market', and 'Market Trends in Insurance: Protection and Risk Management' stood out. The event also brought important discussions about team leadership and new perspectives for transforming the World of Insurance, among other topics.
The businessman also spoke about major disaster insurance. “At REP, we have platforms that can predict locations that are more vulnerable to natural disasters, such as floods, floods and hail, for example. I think of Rio Grande do Sul, and compare it to Florida. There, some insurers are not renewing this type of insurance. Therefore, we have to anticipate to not let this happen. Agent follows the world's leading markets to see what is happening and predict how it will get here. Acting early and being able to predict what lies ahead is also about innovating”, he emphasized.
The REP president highlighted the importance of everything being interconnected. “Our system cannot stop, so I believe we could have platforms that provide better integration between brokers and insurance companies. We need to look for platforms and digitize data more in our segment”, he stated.

During the panel, Felipe also reinforced the need to have prepared professionals in the insurance sector. “We created a project at REP called REP School, which brings a little knowledge of each area. We are in the third edition. It's a course that we take internally focused on a subject. This project aims to train specialist professionals”, he emphasized.
A 3ª Maratona da Inovação em Seguros reuniu cerca de 600 participantes e contou com a presença de mais de 80 empresas.
